Notes to snow piles is a series of graphic works — letters with memories and descriptions of winter experiences. After working with text in the format of the letter of walker (Jenek collaboration) and in the format of memory research project (Memories of Sarmatian see) I have decided to deal with text as the main medium and a drawing as an additional one. That brought me to the winter memories of my childhood in the small southern town.
And as in the story with the horse in the “Meeting with others” project, I understood that Notes to snow piles must have three-dimentional show piles to refer to.
Memory is something that is hidden under snow: we can see the general form , but we don’t know what is beneath it. Despite the fact the project started from the notes, memory works like this most of the times: first of all we look at three-dimentional objects and than find a story/memory/note to a snow pile inside it.
drawings are:
paper on pencil
A3
three-dimentional objects are:
paper-mache on canvas
